Problems with 123-regs (Pipex)

Filed under: UK companies, Internet — Nicolas Delerue @ 23:12:08

One of the website I manage (on behalf of a club) is hosted by 123-regs, a member of the Pipex group
A few weeks ago we paid to increase our hosting space and they took the money but did not increase our space!
Did anybody experience the same problem?

  1. I am trying to get through to 123 right now because I have not been receiving incoming emails for A WEEK. No response - the phone cust off and there is no reply to the email I sent two days ago. Awful service.

  2. 123-regs finally contacted me about 1 week ago saying that they had been "exceptionally busy"!
They then told me that they were unable to check the space used on my account!!! (But they are able to charge me for it)
The problem seem to have been solved at the end of last week...

I have dealt with many internet hosting companies and they certainly rank among the worst!

    Their service is very bad!

  4. Hi i have experienced ALL the problems that people have been complaining about online. Finally have been able to get through to sombody at 01865 480037, was very helpful, and is currently sending emails to senior managment and tryying to help me to solve my problems. I suggest that you ring this number so that you can get someone very helpful (and the number actually works!!!) If enough people make a fuss then hopefully the company will have to act. I suggest that you allso tell Watchdog and trading standards.
